Art and Movement course for mothers
Our Mother Nurture course offers a welcoming space to make new friends, enjoy a cuppa and rediscover your creativity. The 10 week course offers a range of guided activities and is led by mothers for mothers at any stage of parenthood. No experience necessary, all materials and refreshments are supplied, just bring yourself!
Our course is all about you, your wellbeing and your journey. The transition into motherhood affects each mum in a unique way and changes continue throughout the journey. Mother Nurture allows time to slow down, become aware of your thoughts and emotions and reconnect with yourself. The activities are designed to help you clear your mind and discover new ways to express yourself.
We'll explore feelings, boost creativity and self-esteem through: art making, relaxation, movement and reflection. You'll get to know art materials and techniques and have a chance to connect with your body, linking thoughts, emotions and personal experiences to the art making and movement.
We focus on the process and will be there to support you at your own pace. We know how important it is to have plenty of time to connect with others and share your experiences and all our sessions allow time to settle in and are followed by a relaxed half hour of chat with tea and biscuits.
Our course is suitable for all mums with pre-crawling babies welcome.
