Mother Nurture

Creative well-being course for  mothers

Mother Nurture offers a warm, welcoming space for mothers to take time for themselves, connect with others, and rediscover creativity through guided art and movement. No prior experience is needed—just bring yourself (and your pre-crawling baby, if you'd like). We provide all materials and refreshments.

Created by mothers, for mothers at any stage of their journey, each session gently supports wellbeing, self-expression, and connection. Our activities are designed to calm the mind, build confidence, and encourage reflection in a supportive group.

You’re free to attend to your baby at any time, and we’re always on hand to help.

What to expect from our 10 week course:

Each two-hour session introduces accessible creative practices that support emotional wellbeing and artistic confidence.

We start simply and build gradually, encouraging personal exploration and group connection.

Weekly Themes Include:

  • Creative Exploration – Try out art materials and simple techniques that help you reflect on identity and motherhood.

  • Mark Making with Music – Use rhythm, colour, and spontaneous drawing to release emotion and build confidence.

  • Bodymapping – Create a life-sized artwork over several weeks to explore physical and emotional experiences.

  • Movement & Affirmation – Enjoy guided movement, improvisation, and positive self-talk to reconnect with your body.

  • Mindfulness & Relaxation – Each session includes time to slow down, focus inward, and reflect.

  •

We also invite you to continue your journey between sessions and beyond, with optional home practices and a dedicated WhatsApp group for peer support.

We know how important it is to have plenty of time to connect with others. All our sessions allow time to arrive and settle in and are followed by a relaxed, informal half hour of chat with tea and biscuits.
